The dedicated team at the office of John A. Keyton, III, DMD is led by John A. Keyton, III. Dr. Keyton has over 25 years of experience as a dentist. He is also a proud member of the ADA (American Dental Association). When you come to our family owned clinic, you can expect professional dental care from our entire staff.

Dentist
Dr. John A. Keyton III is a highly accomplished dentist with a passion for both his craft and his community. A proud graduate of Dothan High School in 1976, Dr. Keyton went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from Auburn University in 1980, before pursuing his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he graduated in 1984. His commitment to excellence led him to complete a General Practice Residency at the Birmingham Veterans Hospital, further honing his skills before returning to Dothan in 1985 to open his private practice.

Since then, Dr. Keyton has become a trusted figure in the community, offering compassionate care with a focus on building lasting relationships with his patients. A dedicated family man, he has been happily married to his wife, Christy Jordan Keyton, since 1986. Together, they’ve raised eight wonderful children and are now enjoying the joy of their first grandchild. Outside of his practice, Dr. Keyton and his family are active members of First Presbyterian Church in Dothan, where they remain deeply involved in both faith and community life.

With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Keyton continues to be a leader in the field, driven by a deep commitment to his patients’ well-being and a legacy of service to both his family and his community.

Dental Hygienist
Tammy Ingram is a seasoned dental hygienist with over 37 years of dedicated service to Dr. Keyton’s practice. Based in Blakely, Georgia, Tammy has built lasting relationships with both her patients and colleagues, making her an invaluable part of the team. When she’s not brightening smiles, Tammy enjoys quality time with her husband, Dan, and their daughter, Holly, who now lives in Daphne, Alabama with her husband and their two daughters.

Tammy’s home is also filled with love from her Shih Tzu Sadie, who is always by her side. Outside of work, she’s an avid reader, a Sudoku enthusiast, and loves to unwind with family and friends. Whether it’s lounging on the beach or exploring the scenic mountains, Tammy treasures time away from the office.

On Saturdays, you’ll find her proudly cheering on her beloved Alabama Crimson Tide with a loud “Roll Tide!” echoing through the house. With a heart full of passion and a smile to match, Tammy is truly a bright presence in both her personal and professional life.

Cherie Adkins

Dental Hygienist

 Cherie is a seasoned Registered Dental Hygienist with an impressive 47 years of experience, dedicated to promoting healthy smiles and fostering strong relationships with her patients. As a proud member of the Wiregrass Hygiene Organization for the past 15 years, Cherie’s expertise and passion for her work continue to set her apart in the dental field.

Outside of her professional life, Cherie is a devoted mother to two children, a grandmother to four, and a loving pet parent to three fur babies who fill her home with joy. Her heart for service extends beyond her family, as she is an active member of Selma Baptist Church and volunteers for the Respite Program at First United Methodist Church in Dothan.

Cherie’s long-standing commitment to both her career and community reflects her compassionate spirit and deep sense of service, making her a beloved figure both at work and in her personal life.

Office Manager
Sierra is the friendly face that keeps our office running smoothly. With a strong background in office administration, she brings both organization and warmth to our team, making sure every patient feels cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Outside of work, Sierra enjoys spending her time outdoors—whether it’s riding side-by-sides, fishing, or cruising down dirt roads with the top off her Jeep. During football season, you’ll find her in the stands cheering on her two stepchildren—one on the field and one on the sidelines with the cheer team.
